Customer description: The mobile phone won’t turn on.
Test result: the mobile phone can’t be turned on, and Low current is powered on.
Fault analysis: Android phone Low current, in general, is the motherboard Current protection caused by the main VCC or the second Short circuit. Just check the Short circuit fault point and repair the fault point.

Through schematic combined with Boardview, find the input and output components of the power chip on the motherboard, and measure whether the line is Short circuit.

After measurement, it is found that the power management chip outputs 1.2V VCC Short circuit to the CPU, and the motherboard is smoked with Colophony (Solder). When the circuit is powered on with 1.2V VCC, no obvious fault point is found. Turn VCC up to 1.8V, and find that VCC Colophony (Solder)melts next to CPU. After VCC is removed,Short circuit disappears and the fault is repaired.
