After a simple scan of the whole board, it was found that one inductor was burnt black, and the quantity to the ground was 0. According to the drawing, the inductor was 3V. I was so happy that I immediately burned the machine and found that the bridge was hot. After the BGA was installed and the bridge was removed, the resistance value was restored.

I thought it was so good, but the next day my peers used it to say that I couldn’t recognize it alone. After checking, it turns out that there is only one INTEL display in the system. Is it impossible to brush the BIOS by yourself, and it still doesn’t work after brushing a few more? I changed the ME brush with the original BIOS, and found that it is still a bird’s eye, so I can rule out the BIOS problem from now on.

After measuring the two power supplies of the graphics card and the power supply of the video memory, it is sure that there is no future for the three axes. Honestly open the drawings and start measuring the conditions for the power supply chip of the graphics card.

It is found that without EN, EN is turned on by Q50, and the G level of Q50 G has 3V, which is definitely not right. The G level must be low before it can be turned on. The premise of making the G level of Q50 low is that Q113 is turned on, and its G level must be high. The G level of Q113 is controlled by the signal GPIQ5_PWR_ON#.

Did you measure 3.3V? After tracing the drawings, I found that the power supply of this signal was provided by 3V3_AON, and its voltage was obtained by the conduction of Q49. If Q49 wants to conduct, Q114 must be conducted first.

We prepared Q114, and found that Q114 was next to Q113, and it was dismantled by the last family. We found a patch on the material board, and then the GTX965m was finally installed, and the driver was conveniently put on, and the machine was repaired.
