ThinkBook 14 G2 ITL can’t be charged with electricity. The original composite pipe was K03S, and a HP8S36 was replaced. The charging light connected to the power supply was already on, and everything was normal after startup test.

Fault symptom: the customer described that it was not charged, and now the battery is dead, so it can’t be turned on.

Maintenance process:

After connecting the machine, it is connected with an adjustable power supply, without any current, and the charging indicator light does not light up. The battery can be used normally, and other conditions will not be tested. The common point voltage is 0V, and it is protected and isolated. However, when you see TPS65994AD isolation control tube, you will have a big head, no accessories to order, and the price is expensive, mainly because the price is not high.

The measurement of 20V isolation has passed, and the compound field tube G at the common point has no pressure. The resistance value of the first compound tube G to the ground is normal, and the second compound tube G is directly connected to the ground. The connection of the G electrode is 31 pins of TPS25710, and it is directly discharged from PQB2. It was measured that the compound tube was short, and the original compound tube was K03S. A HP8S36 was found to replace it, and the charging lamp connected to the power supply was turned on. Everything was normal during the startup test.
